Wander our grassy open spaces while shopping local vendors, artisans, farmers, and area businesses. Enjoy live music, delicious food, local makers, and community fun in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Market Schedule

• 8 am set up Vendors are allowed to drive to their assigned spot to set up. Vendor parking will be designated.
• 9 am Gates Open to Public Vendors must be set up and ready to greet guests at 9am sharp
• 1 pm Market Closing Vendors may start to break down, not before.

From The Woodlands

Estimated drive time: 15–20 minutes.

• Take Woodlands Parkway West.
• Turn left onto FM 2978 (Hufsmith–Kuykendahl Rd).
• Continue south on FM 2978 for approximately 6–8 miles.
• Cantona Homestead will be on your right at 24706 FM 2978.

From Tomball (Downtown)

Estimated drive time: 10–15 minutes.

• Take Main Street / FM 2920 East.
• Turn left onto FM 2978 North.
• Continue approximately 3–5 miles.
• Cantona Homestead will be on your left at 24706 FM 2978.

From Spring

Estimated drive time: 20–25 minutes.

• Take Grand Parkway (TX-99) west toward Tomball.
• Exit at FM 2920.
• Turn right onto FM 2920 West.
• Turn right onto FM 2978 North.
• Continue approximately 3–5 miles.
• Cantona Homestead will be on your left.

From Conroe

Estimated drive time: 30–35 minutes.

• Take I-45 South toward The Woodlands.
• Exit onto Woodlands Parkway West.
• Turn left onto FM 2978 South.
• Continue south for approximately 6–8 miles.
• Cantona Homestead will be on your right.

From Montgomery

Estimated drive time: 35–45 minutes.

• Take TX-105 East toward Conroe.
• Merge onto I-45 South.
• Exit onto Woodlands Parkway West.
• Turn left onto FM 2978 South.
• Continue to 24706 FM 2978.

Parking & Arrival

• Please drive slowly as children and animals may be present.
• Follow posted event signage and parking attendants.
• Additional signage will be placed near the entrance during large events.

• Do I need to fill out an application for every farmers market I want to attend? You do not need to fill out an application for each Farmer’s Market for the same business. If you are adding another business or changing your business, YES please fill out an additional application. Your application will be good for the entire Farmer’s Market season.
• What time is vendor check-in and setup? Vendor check-in begins at 8:00 AM. All booths must be fully set up and ready by 9:00 AM.
• What are the event hours? The event runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Vendors are required to remain set up until 1:00 PM. Early teardown is not permitted.
• What size booth space is provided? Each vendor space accommodates one 10x10 tent. Vendors must bring their own tent, tables, chairs, and display materials.
• Are tent weights required? Yes. Anchors or weights are required for all tents for safety reasons.
• Can I share a booth? Yes. Vendors may share a booth with a child entrepreneur. Children under 18 years of age may participate free of charge.
• What qualifies as a child entrepreneur? A child entrepreneur is a vendor under 18 years of age selling their own handmade or small business items.
• Are food vendors allowed? Yes, food vendors are welcome but must meet Texas health and safety requirements. All food vendors must provide appropriate permits, licenses, and certifications prior to the event.
• Is electricity available? No. Electricity is not provided at this time. Vendors should plan accordingly.
• Is water available? Water hookups are not provided for vendors. Food vendors must bring any required handwashing stations.
• What if it rains? This is an outdoor event and will take place rain or shine. Vendors should be prepared for weather conditions.
• Can I leave early? No. Vendors may not tear down their booth before 1:00 PM, unless prior approval is given by event staff.
• Where do vendors park? Vendor parking and load-in instructions will be provided prior to the event.
• Are refunds available if I cancel? Vendor fees are non-refundable, as space is limited and planning costs are incurred in advance.
• Who do I contact on event day? A vendor coordinator will be onsite. Contact details will be shared prior to the event.
• Is the booth space inside or outside All booth spaces will be outdoors regardless of the weather.
• What is the surface of the ground like where the booths will be located? Vendors will be set up in an open grassy field. Spaces will be marked accordingly for each booth.
• What type on Vendors do you take? We try to be diverse and make sure we only have a few vendors from the same industry. We accept businesses, authors and anyone promoting their business. Please ONLY one Business per Booth.

All food vendors participating in Cantona Homestead Beginnings must meet local and state health and safety requirements.

Important Notes:

• A valid Texas food permit or license appropriate to your business (Cottage Food Law vendors must comply with all Texas Cottage Food regulations)
• Proof of food handler certification (if applicable)
• Completion of our vendor application and approval prior to the event
• Use of proper food safety practices, including gloves, utensils, and covered food
• A handwashing station if preparing or handling food onsite (as required by law)
• Booth must be kept clean, organized, and sanitary at all times
• Food booths must provide their own 10x10 tent, tables, and weights
• Electricity and water hookups are not provided
• All food must be prepared, stored, and served in accordance with Texas health codes
• Vendors may only sell items listed and approved in their application
• Open flames, grills, or fryers must be approved in advance
• Food vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting sales tax, if applicable
• Cantona Homestead reserves the right to deny or remove any vendor not meeting health or safety requirements
• Failure to comply may result in removal without refund

Texas Cottage Food vendors may sell approved non-potentially hazardous foods, such as:

All Cottage Food items must be:

• Baked goods (no cream fillings)
• Candies, jams, jellies, granola, and similar shelf-stable items
• Properly labeled per Texas law
• Prepared in a home kitchen as permitted
• Sold directly by the producer
